Hello

I specialise in international news and investigations in the form of narrative podcasts, tv news, and radio documentaries for the likes of the BBC, Channel 4 News, and the ABC.

Recently, I’ve been working on an investigation into the abuse of Interpol’s red notice system in the form of a podcast series for Sky News. Before that I spent a year on the foreign news desk at Channel 4 News including two deployments to Ukraine. Previously I learned SQL for this data-led investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign database which won an RTS award for technology in journalism and was nominated for a BAFTA. I produced this six part podcast series for BBC Radio 4 about one day in Afghanistan, the group of men navigating the aftermath and why the MoD isn’t tracking veteran suicides properly. The Spectator called it “for once, money well spent” which I believe is their highest form of praise for the BBC.

This documentary about love and lead pollution in the mining town of Broken Hill is still my favourite thing I’ve ever made.

I’ve worked in public, commercial and community broadcasting as a reporter, presenter, newsreader, show developer, executive (and regular) producer. I care about equality in the media industry, and to that end produced a pay transparency project for the UK Audio Network.
